Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This Oil is a Multipurpose Oil that is a staple in many naturals' hair care regimens. Not only is this Oil great for hot oil treatments and pre-poo treatments, this Oil has great conditioning and healing properties that penetrate and nourish the hair shaft. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) also works wonders when added to your favorite deep conditioner as an added boost to moisturize and also to Seal in moisture after conditioning.
Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Coconut oil (EVCO) is one of the few oils that can actually penetrate the hair shaft; excellent at preventing split-ends when added to deep conditioner and also locks and seals in moisture. Coconut oil contains saturated Fatty-acids and Vitamin-E to prevent hair breakage and damage to promote healthy hair growth. Coconut will also solidify (by itself) at room temperature.
Considered to be the "King of Oils" because it closely matches the sebum in your scalp (your hair’s natural oil); it's often used to balance oil production at the scalp by aiding overproducing glands that cause oil hair. Definitely a great staple in your natural hair care regimen. Jojoba oil contains 98% monounsaturated fats and 2% saturated fats, is light and non-greasy, gives your hair a healthy shine, adds softness, treats dry scalp and dandruffs, helps to repair hair damaged by heat.
Jamaican Black Castor Oil
This Wonderful Oil moisturizes, thickens, strengthens and increases hair growth. The difference between Castor Oil and this Oil is that the beans are processed manually producing a rich ash content thus making the oil more effective and darker in color. A healthy scalp means healthy hair.
Butters are a great way to Nourish, Condition, Protect, and Seal the hair. Shea: controls frizz, softens, one of nature's best emollients (moisturizes) strands as well as locks in moisture. Avocado: one of nature's best nourishing oil (vitamins A, B, G and E, minerals, polyunsaturated fats, saturated fats and monounsaturated fats to treat dry, damaged and frizzy hair. Mango: Also a natural emollient (moisturizer) and promotes cell regeneration to scalp; contains high levels of antioxidants and beneficial vitamins A, C, and E and offers great protection against harmful UV rays and potential sun damage. Cocoa: Contains a high level of Vitamin-E, protein, potassium, calcium, copper, and magnesium. It also strengthens hair shaft and adds volume (thickens) and strength to fine hair, stimulates growth of hair follicles. Offers great protection against chemical and chlorine damage.
Honey is a humectant, which means that it helps attract and retain moisture to your hair. Honey also is a natural moisturizer, excellent addition to deep conditioners along with natural oils. Honey helps to prevent split-ends, fights frizz, adds softness and sheen and is a natural cure for dull/brittle hair. It is also antibacterial and anti-fungal and contains healthy nutrients like calcium, amino acids, potassium, magnesium, sulphur, iron and vitamins (B1, B2, C, B6, B5, B3).
Aloe Vera Leaf Extract
Aloe vera acts as a natural conditioning agent that restores the hair’s sheen, luster, strength, balances pH, and adds shine. It naturally combats frizz without leaving greasy buildup that many hair care products leave behind.
